Dr. Jennifer was born in Wisconsin but grew up in Dubuque, Iowa. She attended Luther College in Decorah, Iowa, majoring in biology and minoring in music. She then moved to Ames, Iowa to attend veterinary school at Iowa State University. Upon graduation in 2005, she moved to Janesville but commuted to clinics in Rockford, Illinois. In February of 2014, she began here at Janesville Veterinary Clinic.
Pediatric appointments are some of Dr. Jennifer’s favorite parts of veterinary medicine. She loves being able to help a new pet owner discover the best possible way to care for their furry family member so that the lifetime bond can be as special and strong as possible. Dr. Jennifer also has a special passion for end-of-life care.
Dr. Jennifer lives with her husband, their son (age 4), and two pets. Trapper John is a very large but tender-hearted Spinoni Italiano, and Arwen is a long-haired Calico cat.
When she has time outside of work, Dr. Jennifer loves to camp, hike, travel, and enjoy the great outdoors with her family. She also hopes to join a local symphony orchestra soon; some of her fondest memories are of playing her cello in orchestras during college and making great friends!
