How did she come into your life?
Her Dad has always wanted a bengal. We had to say goodbye to her older sister mid-March, pre-pandemic. When the pandemic hit and cancelled all of our plans her Dad, Ed, came across an adorable kitten on Facebook in a begal group. When he shared the picture with Mom, she knew that cute little kitten was meant to be in our family forever. We flew to Tampa, Florida to bring her home at the end of May.
Significance of her name, if any:
After deciding to bring Sinci into our family, we made the decision to adopt a 2nd kitten as well. With that decision we needed to find two perfect names. Mom, Angie, assigned her students the task of writing a persuasive paper to convince us of the kittens’ names. A student persuaded us to name her Cinncinatti, we took that idea and partnered it with Dad’s love of Las Vegas, Sin City, to form her perfect name of Sinci. Her full name is Cincinatti Sin City Benson.

Most memorable thing your pet has ever done:
Splash down! One time when trying to keep an eye on her two turtle big sisters, Sinci accidentaly jumped into the aquarium not realizing that Dad had removed the top to clean the water.
Funny or unusual habit:
Sinci likes to sit in unique places. She sits on top of the turtle tank to watch her sisters, on the dash by the windshield when riding in the car and on top of the shower in the bathroom.
If your pet had a job/profession, what would it be?
Olympic Runner – she loves to run on her wheel at all hours of the day!
If your pet could speak one sentence out loud, what would she say?
“This is mine now!” (as she steals what is there-toys, food, pens, bottle caps)

Sinci is the baby of the family with 3 older sisters. Kitten: Olee – 8 months (older by 1 day) Turtles: Spotty and Stripey – 9 years
