Age:

How did he come into your life?
We were out to eat in August 2018 in Beloit and heard a loud meowing in the alley. We saw a little orange fuzz dart away and spent the next hour and a half chasing him down. When we finally caught him and he realized we wouldn’t hurt him, he curled up and fell asleep on my lap on the way home.
Significance of his name, if any:
We named him Rupert after Rupert Grint, the actor who played Ron Weasley. We have another cat named Emma after Emma Watson, the actress who played Hermione Granger.
Favorite treat:
He is actually pretty content with his regular food.
Most memorable thing your pet has ever done:
Before we switched his food over, Rupert used to have really bad farts. He always made a goofy face whenever he did it like he was laughing about it.
Funny or unusual habit:
Rupert knows what to do to get belly rubs. He has an adorable habit whenever he sees one of us where he rolls over with his paw partly over his face and chirps a high-pitched meow at us. It’s the most ridiculously adorable thing, and he gets a belly rub everytime.
If your pet had a job/profession, what would it be?
Mmmmm, not sure… but he would definitely be a Hufflepuff in the Harry Potter world!
If your pet could speak one sentence out loud, what would he say?
“I love you, hoomans!”
Anything else you’d like to share:
Rupert is a polydactyl which means he has extra toes that look like thumbs! 🙂
