How did he come into your life?
My mom’s friend was getting a Goldendoodle puppy from a litter and brought my mom along with her to visit them. I received a text with a photo of my mom and an adorable baby Goldendoodle asking if I want my own puppy. Of course I said yes, so we adopted the runt of the litter.
Significance of his name, if any:
Both my mom and I love the reggae singer Bob Marley, so I slightly changed up the name and made Beau Marley.

Most memorable thing your pet has ever done:
Beau is a little track star, so he loves to jump really high. A couple of months ago I was outside with Beau picking up toys from the yard and he ran up and tried to grab a toy from my hands by jumping really high. Unfortunately he landed directly on his leg and broke it. We decided to have his leg fixed rather than amputated, so he has been going through a long recovery process since. Thankfully he’s feeling much better now!
Funny or unusual habit:
Whenever he is on a car ride and the wind is blowing into the car, he goes crazy and starts digging really fast into the car seat for several minutes for no apparent reason at all. It is always very funny to see him spaz out in the backseat.
If your pet had a job/profession, what would it be?
If Beau had a job he would be an emotional support dog because he can cheer anybody up and knows when someone is upset or stressed out and comforts them.
If your pet could speak one sentence out loud, what would he say?
I love you so much Nina.
Anything else you’d like to share:
Beau loves car rides with his head sticking out the window. He also enjoys going to the dog park and playing with anybody he sees.
