Grandma: Vickie, mom: Cheryl, big brother: Jordan, cat siblings: sister Boots and brother Harley. She even has her best friend that lives next door: 7 month old husky, Lulu. They play together everyday.

How did she come into your life?
I found Lacey on Facebook when she was a puppy. I had a White German Shepard when I was a kid so my favorite breed is the German Shepard. We already had two cats so my mom said no more animals. I took my mom over to the house she was at and let my mom hold her and it was love at first sight.
Significance of her name, if any:
I am a huge Green Bay Packer fan and I needed something for a girls name so she is named after Eddie Lacy. Plus, she is white like lace.

Most memorable thing your pet has ever done:
She has formed a special connection on her own with the 4 year old backdoor neighbor who has autism.
Funny or unusual habit:
Her sassiness when we come home from work. It’s like Lacey is giving you the third degree and yelling at you for being gone. Also when you talk to her she does this funny head tilt.
If your pet had a job/profession, what would it be?
Security Guard or police officer. She is very protective of me.

“Where have you been all day and you didn’t take me?”

Lacey is going through training to become my service dog. When I put the vest on her she knows it is work time. She knows when I have good days and bad days. I love her to the moon and back.
