How did he come into your life?
Parker was a shelter pet. Our whole family loved him when we met him. He settled in on my lap while we were at the shelter. He was so friendly and chill. He seemed like the perfect fit for us.
Significance of his name, if any:
We wanted to name him after someone or something specific to Janesville.
Favorite treat:
Green beans
Most memorable thing your pet has ever done:
He fell through the basement ceiling after finding his way up there for a nap.
Funny or unusual habit:
Parker thinks everyone loves him and wants to hold him. So he jumps from the floor into your arms. Whether you’re prepared for it or not. It doesn’t matter to him if you’ve only been in his home 30 seconds. He thinks you should hold him.
If your pet had a job/profession, what would it be?
Private investigator. Because he likes to follow people to see what they are doing, and stalker just sounds creepy.

Cats are often said to be aloof. Not this little guy. He’s always near. Loves to snuggle and wants to be friends with everyone. We’ve been so lucky to be able to welcome him to our family!
